History
Reconciliation Outreach was founded in 1986 by Dorothy Moore as an outreach to inner city street kids. In 1995 the ministry established a home for women with children and a home for men was established in 1996. Tim Chapman joined the leadership team of Reconciliation Outreach at the Chief Executive Officer in 2011.
Reconciliation Outreach is known for its leadership in urban ministry, and with a variety of programs for families, children, and the disadvantaged, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitative faith-based residential services in the city of Dallas. Reconciliation Outreach operates six residential properties providing comprehensive services for up to one hundred needy men, women, and children. Reconciliation Outreach’s focus on children’s services include “before and after-school care” and summer camp programs.
